Keith (insipidyouth) tagged me for some ... album game. Then I have to tag peoples too. On with it then:

Name 5 cds you absolutely love then tag 8 friends to do the same. If you can upload an album to share, put a star next to it. If you are reading this post and would like me to upload/share a starred album, leave a comment.

*#1 - Squeeze - Singles 45 and under - Great album that rico and katz brought to my attention. I heard it once and went out and purchased the next day. Lots of songs you've heard before but couldn't place. This one's a keeper

*#2 - Phish - Story of the Ghost - Great funk album featuring two of my current favorite songs: Ghost, Limb by Limb. I mean the album was written while listening to the p-funk for christ's sake.

*#3 - Genesis - Nursery Cryme - The third album by Genesis in 71. Obviously not with Philly Collins. The 10+ minute Musical Box and the 8+ minute Return of the Giant Hogweed, these things are things of beauty.

*#4 - The Get Up Kids - On A Wire - dirty grungey sounding music with emo lyrics then the music got a little more melodic a lil more poppy. Enter On A Wire where these guys from Kansas take their music to a new level and up four notches. Some very Beatles sounding tunes and not some, this album can be in my cd player at all time.

*#5 - THE D - Websters Dictionary describes The D as the greatest band that has ever lived. Webster is never wrong... after all, it is a fucking dictionary.

I'd tag if i had friends.

Summer is just completely flying by, I have no idea why it is going so fast. We are all just cruising along at New Paltz and Gardner. Some days are spent in the mountains, some in pools, some at the baseball field, pretty much all over the place.

Saddly Puppers had to go get cut up the other day. His kneecap kept on popping out of place so we had to get take care of it. His Fuzzbutt had to get shaved and his legs cut open and then stapled. He'll be out of commission for 6 to 8 weeks and restricted to our bedroom. Alicia and I have prepared for this greatly with massive amounts of dvds and the such. I hope the fuzzbutt gets better soon. I love and miss him so.

I know h will be reading this later, so a shout out to her. I love you and you look so gay while sleeping.
I'm posting about three things really:

1) I'm pretty much moving out of my house for good. Things are just not kosher over there, my dad and I don't get along at all, so we figured it would probably be for the best that I do move out. So, if you are looking for me, don't look there.

2) Alicia is awesome. She helps me so much and I hope I do the same for her.

3) Episode III was OKAY. Anyone who says more simply just likes the saga too much. The first half of the movie seemed rushed and parts of it will not be understood if you haven't watched the clone wars cartoon. The point when Anakin turns is way lame, and despite what samuel says, he does go out like a punk bitch. However, this being said, the part where Anakin turns is also the turning point in the movie, because from then on, it gets really good. Lucas did a very good job of tieing everyhing together and explained everything really well, including Obi taking Anakin's lightsaber after he schools him. (That is not a spoiler because well, if you didn't know that then you aren't going to see the movie)
One of my main beefs is that Grevious and Dooku are supposed to be the bad-ass leaders of the seperatists, and yet for some reason, they constently get their asses beat in. That and the fact that Padme guesses correctly about whats going on while everyone is still in the dark. Oh, and don't ever ask James Earl Jones to say "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" ever.

So the days have been great up here in new paltz, I'm not really sure how they are on long island and I don't really care. In the past week I've been hiking, camping, playing football, wiffleball, and all sorts of fun stuff. It really does seem like a giant cloud of retarded has flown over long island and quite frankly, I'm getting pretty fed up of it. It's pretty amazing how every single person you know from a place can loose all sense of reality. Basically, as the way I see them, I don't really have any friends on Long Island anymore. From people trying to use me, to people just being fucking weirdos I just don't get you people anymore. Brian doesn't count considering he lives in Penn State, and neith does Marni for living in Spain. Even Keith has decided to up and leave. I really don't see what is so enjoyable about hanging out with a crazy bitch that I wouldn't touch with a stranger's dick and her boyfriend, who is pretty pathetic if you ask me. Couples care when you're 21? How is a doctor supposed to cure being a huge whore/skank? gimmie a fucking break.

I was going to throw a party at my house on the 28th. I have recently decided against it. I see absolutely no reason to provide a place to get destroy, where I always end up paying for most of the stuff, everyone else comes and does whatever they want without providing their end, esp. since I've been the one without a job for a year. I'm sick of that fucking island and everyone on it. If all goes according to plan, I won't be there again for longer than a day until 2007.

Alicia, Mike Katz, Dana Katz, Eric, and myself went to the Ska Is Dead Tour at the chance a week or two ago. It was fantastic. Streetlight is as good in person as they are on cd. They have a new cd coming out in May aptly named Keasbey Nights 2.
We also went to the ASOB/Harold's Trousers show. That was good. It was nice to see everyone. Got big hugs from Jeff Rosenstock, Dave Dickerman, JayTea Turret, Mike Costa, Joe Bovie, and Kathleen (who has no last name, but she's actually lost even more weight if one could even fathom that happening).

Anyone else going to the Edna's Goldfish show?
So it's coming to an end once again. It's sad really. I think I like winter vacation a whole lot more than any other vacation. It just feels so chillax. Did anyone do anything cool this break? I went to Seattle and Vancouver and Penn State and Troy, NY and New Paltz and a whole bunch of other places. It was way fun although I must say that some people didn't really stick around for too long.

Complications arose that caused Brian to be called away to Penn State, Marni is working and going to Philly and other places, Justin's getting his weiner wacked now, sooo people are doing their own thing for the most part and that's cool. However, I do leave of Friday to meet up with Dan possibly. Dan?? Who is Dan you ask? Well, that's a good question. He's supposed to be my new roommate and he called me the other day. It was cute.

You know what?? I decided I don't want to write in this now. Bye

British Columbia is nuts. It's soooooo awesome and totally kicks other parts of Canada's ass by far. The plane ride was an hour late to pick us up so we got to Seattle by 12:30. Being retardedly tired, we ordered a pizza and went to bed only to wake up at 6:30.
Taxi to the train and train to Vancouver. Arrive in Vancouver, I get tagged by the K9 unit in the train depot (A mogan-esque puppy). I had absolutely nothing on me, but I guess my bag or my jacket must of smelled (my jacket absorbs everything) and I got searched for like 15 minutes and then was allowed to go.
Staying at a Best Western above a liquor store and across the street from a 7-11. We spent the day laying about and ordering room-service and drinking liquor. Around 8 o'clock we decide to go out and walk about. Get into a mucho informative conversation with resident homeless man Daryl who points us to the Cambie Hostile. It's this sick bar where people of all genres (metal, hippie, old, hipster, emo, punk) come together to get drunk and apparently pick up. shopping as they call it. Great times so far. It's only 11:30 here now, lol.

<lj:music>l & o: the same damn episode from last night</lj:music>

so I just discussed my trip with my mother. It should be a fucking blast. Jan 3rd to the 14th, tickets purchased. Peace out East Coast.

I also discussed Christmas with my mother as well. My uncle Joey and Black Aunt Merc usually give me like 100, same goes for my grandma and grandpa, my Aunt Kathy. So that plus whatever everyone else gives me, plus what my parents get me (a pair of birkenstock clogs[my ass they are clogs, clogs are made of wood] and money) should be more than enough to cover the trip. I have to go do group work now because apparently college students are 12 years old.

    <lj:music>The New Deal - Homewrecker/Episode #7/Carry On Wayward Son - NewDeal: 2004.10.29 - Rochester Disc 2</lj:music>

My vacation was not much of one. Since Tuesday, I've gotten a total of 22 hours sleep and it felt really weird to not be at a newdeal show last night. Tuesday I crashed at Alicia's, Wednesday I returned to home and eventually made it out to the Trousers show w/ honey. Harold's Trousers sounds nothing like they used to but yet sounds the same. I don't know how to describe it, but they are fucking great. Everyone should go see them instead of whining about how ASOB 'broke-up.' After I got bitch-slapped via phone by bitchy people, I returned back to Floral Park with Alicia.
Thursday was thanksgiving and it was weak. I didn't drink a drop, 24 people were at my house and I spent all of it in the kitchen and I didn't even eat much. I had a plate. Again, slept at Alicia's.
Friday and Saturday was more or less theNEWDEAL.
theNEWDEAL shows were fucking cool as shit, although it did have it's eh qualities. First of all, they are an encore band now, which I think is kind of lame and we heard a lot of the same themes played both nights. I mean, isn't it weird that you go see a band three out of four nights and they don't play the 'single' from the latest album? It was fun as shit though.
I gotta run to class now, but I'm going to take the time to look down on people. People who 100% equal who they were when they were in High School. There're a buncha you guys on here, and you know who you are. People who haven't let go of Long Island or changed in anyway.
The New York City skyline looks odd to me. Almost cluttered. I don't feel finished with NYC, but perhaps a little bored? I know that there is lots to do, but I've seen the city since I was 2. I need a new city and so it will be.
The flights have been booked. Honey and I are getting the hell out of here on Jan 3rd and we'll be back on the 14th. We're flying to seattle and flying out of san deigo. everything inbetween are just details.

    <lj:music>mtvU (THE U STANDS FOR "UHHHHHHH")</lj:music>

I went to sleep at 6:30 and woke up at 8. How about you guys?

People need to shut up. Your kerry opinion is not more correct than someone else's bush opinion. Where is the surprise in this election, eh? Every state landed exactly where everyone said they were going to with the minus of new hampshire, which flipped from republican to democrat. If you didn't know that the election was going to be based solely on Penn & Ohio & Florida , they you obviously haven't been paying attention to the election at all.

So who can democrats be upset with? Well, no one. The only person who could of beat Bush was Dean. The democrats supported Dean and he was going to be the choice until he fucked himself over. So what were the democrats supposed to do? Everyone was shying away from Dean and Kerry was sweeping over with great success.

You can't blame kerry and you can't credit bush. Nor can you blame Ohio or Florida. This election was pure and simple about social issues. Every state that had Terrorism and Iraq as it's number one issue, went to Kerry. How can one campaign against social issues that your party has a firm stance on. Democrats are pro gay rights & pro abortion, and those are the two issues that mattered. These are "christian" values that played out in christian states.

Now, as far as nader goes, I think everyone who voted for him needs to really reassess this. Nader wants you to send a message to those fat cats in washington! But who did you really send a message to. Your nader votes wouldn't of saved Kerry, and they obviously didn't prevent Bush from winning. The democrats aren't going to pan to get more Green votes, because they were small and insignificant. You guys accomplished even less in this election congratulations. You all make me sick.

My final word on the subject is this, Bush did not win. Republican platforms and ideals won. If this was not true, then the Senate, the House, and the number of governors wouldn't all be red. This was not about a war-time president nor the economy. You people overwhelming hate gay people and abortions and now we'll have up to four more members of the supreme court ruling to lock up gays in cages and letting the mother die to only possibly save the 'life' of an unborn child. I hope everyone is happy with our conservative nation. The only way to correct this is to move out of the south. If you want people to blame, there they are. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO MOVED SOUTH IS RESPONSIBLE. Those states weren't worth that much four years ago.

(PS: Music today sucks. 98% of what you hear on the radio and tv is pure unadulterated crap)

hey doc. how are you doing? Me I'm doing great. Spent the weekend in the magic land of penn state. what a weekend, but what I'm really here for is to show my love for travel. In the next 8 months, I'll be all over the country.

-Jan 3rd - 17th: This time, or most of it, will be spent traveling the west coast. Alicia's parents have jet blue tickets that need to be used, so we'll be flying into Sand Diego. Spending a night there, we'll then spend a day and night in Tijuana, Mexico. Followed by two nights in LA, two nights in San Fran, a night in Seattle, and (possibly) a night or two in Victoria or Vancouver in British Columbia. A return to Seattle to fly back out to New York. A backpack filled with clothes, ipods and digital camera, our passports, and a buncha Amtrak tickets. This trip will, hopefully, be accomplished for under 400 with the use of Super 8 and other Motels, AAA discounts, and student discounts.

-March 25th - 31st: This will be spent in New Orleans. To celebrate my 21st birthday, I'll be in the city of soul, jazz, and boozing.

-Late April: 4 to 5 days will be spent in Ireland doing a funeral only fit for the best. Although I never met her, it seems like even this trip won't do her memory any justice. However, it's the best any family can do. The rest of this time will be spent cruising Ireland and drinking guinnesse for cheaper than bud.

-June: Bonnaroo in TN. A plan to get a group of at least 10 people together, with the combined powers of New Paltz, Long Island, and Penn State, and to rent an RV are currently under investigation.

-August: Cruise to the Bahama-momma's.

fear the travel plans.
I will not talk about the election, because it's not even a contest. Kerry is clearly going to win.

After the summer, my map will look somewhat like this:

create your own personalized map of the USA
